How to Report a Fake Vegas X Site or Payment Scam

Reporting takes about ten minutes and helps others avoid the same trap. Start by protecting your money and accounts, then report the site to Google and the FTC — and to the FBI if you lost money.

Step 1: Protect your money and accounts first

  1. Card payment? Call the number on the back of your card and ask to block it and dispute the charge.
  2. Cash App, PayPal, Zelle or similar? Report the payment in the app’s support section straight away.
  3. Typed your password? Ask your seller to change your Vegas X password and change it anywhere else you reused it.
  4. Installed an app? Uninstall it and run a security scan.

Step 2: Save the evidence

  • The full web address of the fake page (copy it from the address bar).
  • Screenshots of the page, chats, emails and payment confirmations.
  • The seller’s or agent’s name, profile link, phone number or payment tag.
  • Dates, times and amounts.

Step 3: Report it

WhereWhen to use it
Google Safe Browsing[1]Any fake login page — helps get it flagged in browsers
FTC: ReportFraud.ftc.gov[2]Scams, fake sellers, payment fraud (US)
FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center[3]If you lost money online
Your state attorney generalConsumer complaints and illegal gambling operations in your state
The platform where you met the sellerReport the Facebook profile, group or chat account

Step 4: Learn the warning signs

Most fake Vegas X pages share the same tells: a slightly different domain, a payment request on a login screen, “free” passwords or a “no verification” APK. Our 10 red flags checklist covers them all. The FTC’s phishing guide is also worth a read.[4]
